Opis vina
Vino sazreva 18 meseci u malim buradima od francuskog hrasta (225 l). Vino intezivno ljubičaste boje. Na mirisu nudi arome zrelog crvenog I crnog bobičastog voća sa notama ljubičice I lavande, kao I naznakama kože, začina, moke I vanile. Na ukusu vrlo slojevito I kompleksno, dominira ukus ribizle, zrele brusnice I kupine sa suptilnim notama crnog bibera. Punoga tela, mineralno, vrlo koncentrovano sa prijatnim zrelim taninima.

James Suckling - review
This shows a silky and beautiful wine with plum, spice, salt and sliced meat. Full body, with wonderful fruit and spicy, meat and berry character. A little jammy but I like it a lot. Drink or hold.

Robert Parker - review
The polished and developed 2017 Catena Alta Malbec has balsamic aromas and a very attractive mixture of flowers, berries and spices. It has contained ripeness for a warm vintage, with a serious profile, medium body and fine-grained tannins, with good grip. It was fermented with full clusters and matured in used French oak barrels for some 18 months. I like the austerity and grip on the palate.

Well-structured, with a fine-grained texture to the lively mix of dried red berry and spice flavors. Slate and floral hints on the crisp finish. Drink now through 2025.
